A Father's Plea

Speak to me Speak to me of the    bile in your craw Speak to me of the anger    in your guts Speak to me when you    think of my name DAD My name Do you revile me Do you hate me so that    you do not contact me? Yes, yes, yes    I divorced your Mother, but that was eons ago You have pushed me away    farther than at arms length I have always kept you within    my bosom, my heart Can I tell you that I need you?    Or is that a guilt trip? No – I really need you Will you answer my call?    Hear my plea? I am only human    and I do love you UNCONDITIONALLY
