Whom have you talked to lately? There is a light on the distant horizon It sways to and fro And as I approach to see I realize I am not to know The Truth The lantern fades to black No longer can it be seen It’s as if it never was there My imagination or was it a being? I have searched this world over Over hills and dales I wonder how much longer Will it be or will I fail To find The Truth A man in white robes stood In the middle of the ocean foam He held a lantern aloft One arm held high and offered up a tome “Atque inter silvas academi quarrere verum” And I went to find The Truth And found nothing! |
