Yuletide Wish For TPL

This is my yuletide wish for you. May you see trees wearing winter’s cape Never feel stings of emotional rue. May your eventides fall with a graceful drape, And troubled seas be calm and few. I wish for you silence of the snow And nocturnes of a mystic Christmas night. May splendors of His birth glisten and glow And enfold you in His perpetual light.

Hi Marilyn Thank you for the "wish" Lets hope it comes true for poets everywhere The phrase that struck me on a poetically point was: "I wish for you silence of the snow" I have taken that you mean calm, peaceful, no truama but to this reader there is also another meaning to this phrase. Many years ago I read a book called "I can hear snow falling" it was about schizophrenia, it was a powerful read, your poem has caused me to remember, which is good! Be well Happy Christmas to you! Marilyn, How very perfect in every way, your structure, your meter, your deliciously exquisit wording and something we so needed right now. Bless you a thousand times over, this is simply perfect, what else can I say. I can not, no I will not choose one line over another for preferrence, they are all needed and all leave a sweet taste in the mouth when spoken aloud. Warmest always, Lora

Dear Marilyn, This was so nice of you! Such a pretty poem, filled with love and wishes for all of us. It is the season of giving and you have given me, the hope, of having these things materialize this Christmas. This actually would make a great holiday card - just a thought, but it's perfection of capturing the high spirit of the holiday - would be just as nice for anyone, anywhere. Very good read, I enjoyed this very much. DeniMari
