Yuletide Wishes For Marilyn

This is my yuletide wish for you. May you see snow trees posed in pas de deux, Regrets are removed with flight of the bee, May vespers arrive with honey-sweet dew, As we light candles for you and for me. I wish you sugar of rainbow delights With etudes and nocturnes in a soft glow. I know you love splendor of Christmas nights In a panorama of glist'ning snow.

Additional Notes:
On 12-7-05, Marilyn Terwilleger posted a Christmas card for all of us. This is my answer to her and no crit is required. I wish other members would send cyber cards and this can become our Christmas tradition.

Mell, What a fine- intellegent blessing. I could not pass up commenting, even if briefly, on how well written this piece is. It is astonishing. I am not much into poetic communique (probably should be)but this piece is exquisite. Makes me think I should write some. Really, a pleasure to read!!

Hi Mell, I am reading this again and again with tears in my eyes. This is such a lovely yuletide wish and you wrote it just for me! Thank you so much, dear Mell. Your idea of everyone doing this at Christmas time is great and I hope it catches on and does become a tradition. I just did it because I couldn't send everyone a card. This is lovely...I will print it and keep it always. Lots of hugs...Marilyn

Mell-O: No crit required, but appreciation is a good thing, yes? I love the images - wondering how the bee got in there and out again. It's very musical and I hear Chopin instead of Tschiakovsky. I especially love "snow trees posed in pas de deux." The candles are lit, the vespers are being said. What a gracious idea, a cyber-card. I think you are dressed adroitly for the season in your Red Hat and are passing on a great idea for a tradition. I happen to have one in storage - not a red hat - a Yuletide greeting. ;-) Thanks for this reminder that 'tis the season, and this 2005 season will not come 'round again. And so I raise a toast to you ... Cheers! And stars ... ***** With love, LL Em
