RECLAIMED

For months he had been awakened from the midst of slumber by mournful memories which fringed  the edge of sanity taunting him again and again to join their outer circle 'Give in to the pain' 'Let hatred reign' 'Let bitterness sign your name' His will to survive weakened as the Way Out waved icy fingers reaching for his soul as a seductress would dance  for her victim  This night was different Rage began to replace hurt His heart seemed to slam back into his chest to take its rightful place as The Master of this domain He sat for hours gathering memories Sorting   stacking Now void of emotion he torched the remains Sleep settled in ever so gently so as not to disturb the calm steady breath of rebirth
