Moonlight's Magic Dance

Moonlights' Magic Dance   At night I lay where moonlight plays and pools its magic round me enchanting me, it sets me free as sensual thoughts surround me. I drift away, and go astray to thoughts of sinful pleasure of wonderous, wild, and wicked wants all locked up, like a treasure. And as my mind it wonders through my sensual ideals a part of me is buried there a lust, I wish to feel. Insatiable, I must fulfill these wants I can't control  'I've waited here, for you my lord to burn me...to my soul.' Enchanted by her wanton ways unable to resist, the Knight, he felt his passion rise his heart a pounding fist. As to the ground, they both did fall in desires sweet embrace, he held her tight within his arms both hearts began to race. Nights' velvet cloak enveloped them, and darkness set it's spell, as they began to decend into passion's endless well. Their senses tumbled into time reality forgot, their bodies danced with fevered pitch, abandonment they sought. Beneath the moonbeams magic trance,  embraced in ecstacy desire raged within their souls and flamed their fantasy. As they lay drenched, in moonlights glow their passion pooled around them, and swayed within their dance of love In golden liquid rhythm.

Nancy, I love your rhythm and rhyme. This is a feel good poem. Captivating, fun to read. Love is depicted with such romance.[as we women like to dream of it!] Most sensual and pleasing. I could read this over and over and not tire of it. Super job! And lovely ending It never let me down......clear through! #1..... dellena

Dear Nancy, Another great write, absolutely entertaining in a good rhyming scheme. Nice story, of love, lust and passion. The piece does not hinder, flows perfectly, and was enjoyable to read. I must have missed this one, back in 2002 - because I don't remember it at all. You've also done well with the structure, in my opinion you've placed each line in order, to improve it's flow. Can't make any suggestions on this one, for any changes. I've enjoyed it just as it was written. Good luck this month. Sincerely, Denimari

Hi there Nancy, A fantastic one this is! By the way, I have visited the website and I can see the blooming you! <smile> Thanks for that! Anyway, I have not read the original version of this one yet I am sure that this one stands solid and outstanding. Solid and outstanding in giving a much-enjoyed entertainment, to the maximum level I should say! <smile> My question is..., who was that MOON in your magic dance? You must have taken him to your journey in life now. Kodus on this one! Jordan

Hi Nancy...I love the way you have written this poem. It is lyrical and magical...the rhyming is wonderful and has an easy flow from one line to the next and in no place does it seem forced just for the sake of the rhyme. Your words are very sensual and in some places down right sexy! You have not used any apparent form here as some lines have two words and some more and the sylabble count is not the same in each line but I'm no expert at that anyway. No matter how you choose to write this piece it works and is stunning. Very well done and I'm glad you re-posted it which gave me a chance to read it for the first time! Blessings...Marilyn
