To Infinity and Beyond

“Buzz Lightyear’s come to save the day,”    the child shouted in joyous play... the battle cry of the hero bold...    the story of his fight,  age-old. Through every room the hero flew,    defeating tyrants old and new. Setting right each ancient wrong,    protecting the helpless from the strong. His heart was bold, his aim was true,    as to the rescue Buzz Lightyear flew. Justice from a little boy,    his instrument a plastic toy. Exhausted at the end of day,    time to put the hero away. A bit of lunch, a kiss or two,    then the hero’s work was through. Fast asleep all snug in bed,    prepared for the night ahead, he clutched the hero tight in hand,     and established right in shadowland.
