No Strings

There are no strings on my love No hidden trap doors of condition My love is not spring loaded It has no coiled â€œWhat if’s” I love who you are right now Not who you could be not who you once were This minute This second and every heartbeat from now on So there

Ken, So glad to see a post from you. So simply stated and a big nod of agreement from this reader. This is nothing about this write that I would change or even suggest to change, "It's true". Thank you for the reminder of what love should be. Hope you are doing well. Best always, Lora

Dear Ken, I love what this poem says. It is the deepest love, and the most appreciated in someones life. You are truly blessed to have found what some people continue to search for. I really believe, people are born to love this way - but some just can't for some reason and I think that's sad. The third verse is my favorite - it rings unconditional love - the way love should be. I think a lot of people can relate to this piece. It's uplifting, it's written from the heart, and it was a complete pleasure to read. Sincerely, Denimari

Hi Ken....If this poem is autobiographical then you are a lucky man and she is a lucky woman! There is nothing more wonderful than just to be loved for who you are and not for the person someone wants to mold you into. I like this poem...it is terse and to the point. No hearts and flowers but just simple words that show love for another. Well done....glad to see you post a poem here again! Marilyn

Kenneth, Your love is most wonderful, as it is unconditional. The best kind. It is also the most difficult! Your poem says exactly what unconditional is. No matter what! Lucky the people who get to experience YOU! Your poem is easy flowing. Interesting title.. And above all it's TRUE ! Good job, Dellena
