My Movie Star

He was barely eleven when Angels swept down and carried him off to Heaven A beautiful little blond, blue eyed boy just at the age of innocence taken so abruptly He was our gift from God But it was for only a short time we were to have him to enjoy him and to learn so much from him  We would play a game when we were together He was my movie star and I was his biggest fan I used to call him Rock Hudson and then you'd see a twinkle in his eyes and a devilish grin on his fair skinned face This beautiful little blond, blue eyed boy would be 40 this year- So if you see an Angel  with a twinkle in his eye and a devilish grin on his fair skinned face You will know he is my movie star My nephew, so sadly missed

Additional Notes:
Okay, guys, this is my very first, so go easy on me. :) I love to read poetry but have never tried writing it before. Any criticism is welcomed, it can only make me better. This was dedicated to my nephew, Dougie, who passed away in the early 70's of spinal meningitis.
