Wondering about Wandering

It is perplexity this time  in anxiety of thought management Angry to points that align  along another religion's brandishment.  The Crusaders, thus spun  to pillage, rape and burn without, Within, tearing feet to turn  to glorify a God in abstentia.  Their work today rises the ashes  shed at the feet of the godless                it disguises. Not acquitting the mask is no                        different With nothing behind to give vent     the anger of difference.  Those of the Red Cross and retinue                                combined  were no less course for the intent                       they sublimed. While, least we forget their promise                 in heaven No less a feast for madness of so                         many virgins. In that all who suppose such reward                               aloft Continues a redundance the wise             would view no loss.

Additional Notes:
The havoc of the lines is contrived to reflect the bewilderment over religion perverted to uses of military conquest by false prophets. Better verse just seemed out of place.

James, I really like this, the havoc-confusion-bewilderment are well served in this write as also the feeling of disbelief; how people can become so robotic and so far off track....incredulous I guess, leaves me to wonder. I believe you've nailed it in "it disguises different, combined, they sublimed in heaven, many virgins aloft would view no loss" so speaks of how errant a thought can become and further so when put to deed. What comes next? I await your sequel... Best, Lora
