My Prayer

Dear Lord: Give me the strength to get back up,  when lifes ocurrences kick me down. While lying here on the ground,  I've had a chance to settle down. I realize all the things I do, are all for me and not for you. So teach, show me, everyday, how to be strong, and how to pray. Dear Lord I need, Dear Lord I we, I'm really out of practice you see. So here I go, straight from the heart, I haven't really rehearsed this part. I need you beside me, I need you Lord. I need the Angels, the ones that guard. I need to have your holy grace,  to wipe the frown that clouds my face. To watch and keep my family and me, to hear me pray, my prayer to thee. Amen
