And Yes' I Cried

When I see couples seemingly in love, sharing, touching, giving the appearance of love, I think of you, your promise of love. I said it was too soon for you to feel this way, And Yes'I Cried. I begged you not to say those three little words, "I Love You",  if you did not meant them from your heart.   You assured me that your heart was bursting with love tunes, playing passionately, with heart thoughts, And Yes'I Cried. So I fell for the euphoric perception of love, hard, tumbling,  footloose, open heart, addicted to the single enjoyment of love's moment, And Yes'I Cried. Now my swollen heart you have tossed, love shears have dismembered it, ripping, cutting, tearing, blades dim with rust, And Yes' I Cried. Swollen hearts crying. Purging old lovers. Swiftly washed away forever. And Yes' I Cried.
