Tear Down Trumpets

It is the fear of more, not less  that tears at tyrant tapestry That sets the time on blame  and shears the shard from the pane The baby buys another's grave (I'm told)   victory despoils some other's lot For glory begets far more defeat  one short city block down the street.

James, "For glory begets far more defeat" What I get from this is tyrants want it all......and life becomes less, and glory is defeated. All done too quickly! I like your use of T's alliteration. baby buys is good also. Your title is captivating also....... good Dellena
