Distance

the movements I sense in the subtle realm require no pretense need no helm and behind these lids at close of day my love forbids the place I stay here I am saying hello here I am this one you know here I am we, of romance here I am not at a distance here I am taking a chance here I am so far, so near here I am with and without fear no captain needed to guide the way no sunrise no port no night or day no boat needed to sail away a choir, a part in that I sing I sing to match the mere sight of grace I sing to catch the sight of your face I sing with all for all as one I sing so I will not be undone I sing for silence, in that I'm found just wire this heart on gossamer wing to tell my love of love, I bring

Additional Notes:
Since I mentioned it in the last poem I submitted, I thought it only right to include the first part in the "Spaces" apparent trilogy. Distance, Spaces, Light Behind Clouds. Om

Hi Regis.....this is a lovely poem....well written and evocative. I sing with all for all as one I sing so I will not be undone I sing for silence, in that I'm found just wire this heart on gossamer wing to tell my love of love, I bring these lines are especially poignant to me. You have a rhyme scheme that pulls the reader along with ease. Good word choices and structure make this a pleasant read. I'm glad you posted this as I was wondering about your trilogy. Well done....M.
