Entreaty

the sea rolls  its fury in upon itself in eternal penance it falls prostrate weeping salty tears into the earth chanting fervent supplicatory prayers of forgiveness to the cold stone gods

Additional Notes:
Here's a strange, free-form for you. I was watching the waves at dusk as they crashed upon the Pacific shore and thought to myself, there is a type of aggression to their pounding-why would they beat themselves so, again and again-as though it were an act of flagellation? Look for the personification and imagery of natural objects here if you get confused.
