Notices (of the non-poetry kind)

Hopefully everyone feels some of my delight over our new president and his lovely family. The bonuses have already started to his administration with the closing of Gitmo, an end to torture as sanctioned, and the closing of secret CIA prisons. Not to mention an obviously fearful oil industry has lowered gas prices to one third what they were during their height of an oilman president's second term.  Those interested in a rarely good biographical movie of a poet, might enjoy "Sylvia",  presenting the story of the tragically short-lived poet, Sylvia Plath. My take on it can be found at moviefilmreview.com/ My user name there is Jason1107.  And, Gordon, if submission credits are too costly for you, I am only too happy to donate some of mine to you.

I do believe as a country we are heading in the right direction with President Obama and yes he does have a lovely family which is down to earth....There are so many skeptic's on this subject but there always are and will be. We must open our hearts and trust in his ability to take a firm hold on situtions that were not of his creation and know that our country will once more regain its strengh in all areas and become a country of the people once more......Gordon I too would be glad to give you some credits if you need them. God Bless, Claire

Hi James, While it is very clear that Americans expect Obama to act on some of the more pressurizing issues of our time, I would be interested to see Obama's administration come clean on alien life, area 51, captured alien transport, etc. What I'm not looking forward to is the enthusiasm with which the administration is already forming groups of envoys for various troubled spots in the world and in India, an envoy to Kashmir (an integral part of India) is bound to ruffle feathers. Nevertheless, it seems the entire world has woken up to a new day of hope. Without doubt, his election is a celebration for humanity on a number of levels - a celeberation all of us can partake of in the hope of a brighter future. Duane.
