The Tincture

An infusion of Love's sweet mystery Misted and extended over the planet Happiness for joy, not for sorrow's saving  Sweet comfort lies in loves surrounding Love swells ripe with nourishing trueness Rather than living by man's strength of will Love helps beings become finer than they are Fulfilled and affirmed they live life of purpose Love is the light of white beheld by goodness The quiver of wonder in the atmosphere   Love is a whisper of God from the universe Bequeathing blessings at the ceremonial banquet  Revealing to all, what is of genuine importance

Beautifully penned my friend.......your words bring forth to this reader at least the joys of love within our lives, whether it be from a parent, child, lover, spouse, friend or in this case from God who loves us all............. I am particulary touched by the third stanza......one that I can see, feel, hear, touch, and yes, revealing to all, what is of genuine importance. It is on my list for the month for sure.......God Bless, Claire

It is my privilage to be the first to critique this poem of yours, Dellena, clearly your best. One delicious with assonance and rich in imagery. Subtle rhyme is so much better than the other kind and you're beginning to do this....and well. Noble ideals, wonderful title, very very nice. Love as "Tincture", pretty grand. JCH
