As I think back to our time spent together    I see that you had no love control,    Because you, were the one in love. You were deep into the relationship,    and for moments at a time,    I was there with you,    Because you, were the one in love. When it was obvious that we were going     no where fast, I swiftly got out,    and you had nowhere to go,     Because you, were the one in love. All the crying, telephoning,     notes taped to my car, were in vain,    as I had moved on, and you were unmovable,    Because you, were the one in love. So to you I must say,     I was liking you, not loving you.    Hugging you, not holding you.    Teasing you, not pleasing you.    Because I, was not the one in love,    You were.
