A Collection of Pain

you are riding     this angry horse        too long  the path    doesn't go       that far the pain     isn't worth it   you'll have     to spend this anger by yourself  we punish others    emotionally       for lack within ourselves  not necessarily    for their degree        of guilt I know there    is love        between us yet. . . my heart    feels only       your scorn we've shaved     the ice         too thin  ice juts of pain,    crystallized       in my mind  preconceived thoughts    translated into        cold shafts of memory slipping, sliding, crashing     into the frozen       regions of my heart passages  I do not want to travel    loom before me. please. . .     hold my hand  and keep me from going  I could climb a mountain     reach the heavens       tiptoe to embrace a cloud  retrieve a star       on a clear night          to carry home to you except    you would not believe       it was a star from such a distance I m paralyzed   with pain       fear          anger             about our argument please. . .    before the sun goes down touch me    and see       if I still breathe   sometime    between my teardrops       and evening please    tell me you love me tears have formed    ice drops       on my heart pain    has seared holes       in our relationship  but    a footstep       a kind word could suddenly    melt the ice       and dry the tears oh    please       come          and             touch                me                   where                      I                         hurt

Additional Notes:
Ideally these pieces would all be on a separate page in a book but, this is not possible here. I did leave out all those. . . . . . . I like for effect so well. Let me know if it is better without them. Mr. East, would you suggest punctuation any where in this work? Thanks
