Anymore

I still love you  I knew it when I saw you across the room your face is familiar I didn’t even cry  not until you left but not much just a tear or two I still love you and  I know why your eyes are familiar a wonderful man lives under that ordinary boy I know why  because I wouldn’t love someone  not wonderful  I still miss you  occasionally your walk is familiar I have wondered if you miss me too after all,  we spent a lot of tears together I don’t even cry hardly at all anymore We spoke easily and I remembered  how easy it used to be to talk to you remembered the many hours we spent   understanding each other scary  how easy it's getting to be  without you I still love you  even though you had no regard for the heart that adored you that built dreams upon you but maybe the reason was your foundation  not strong enough to hold up my dreams and  yours too I’ll still love you  when you are no longer familiar and your phone number  is a blank  I'll have nothing to say  and I won’t even cry hardly at all anymore Laurie Dee 7/00
