Morning With "Christ" In Life

Slow to awaken clearing foggy dreams that linger in my head rise stretch sit up in bed where I lay with  morning prayers I say. For "God" to hear and lead me through this day waiting listening to what he has to say, in purity of "His" words do I choose to live "He" knows what is best our answers he does give. Begin breath in love goodness for all divine through life growing glowing with belief to shine light to others as faith seems so alive when love leads peaceful moments in days that are ahead. A birds light sweet song lifts those who long to hear smiles to replace painful tears meals to feed  hungry souls calls to the lonely and the old. People who need comfort in comfort we should live what would life serve us should our hearts turn away and forget to give?

Hi Deni, A poem that reveals your firm belief in God's ability to move mountains and shield his people. I particularly liked the last two verses primarily because they seemed to be more structured with some sharper imagery and verbiage. They also seemed to have a flow of their own but I'm sure you had a reason for this :-) God Bless, Duane.

Your journey proceeds on, a growing process that continues to enlighten and enfold you within its lessons. Wondrous nuiances continue to come forth from your pen--your sharing and trust in us whom you've allowed to read you work are humbled by your words and your trust. It is easy to see your growth both spiritually and in your craft as you profect your strophes. Thank you for sharing. Lora
