Why? if someone asked me why I write, what would I say? I never plan anything, and if I make a statement, its spontaneous, and often contrary to any statement I would plan to make. I do not write because I believe, or want to convince the world. I do not write because I want to impress a skirt, or because I love, or hate, or anything else. I write because, well, well, well, crabs moving backwards can make time retrogress, and nutshells are kingdoms of an infinite space. and there’s something in the fact that the same letters spell “gods†and “dogs.†even God would get a kick out of that. |

Mark,
Very nice! I think many poets can identify with this reply to Why?
The ending brought a smile to my face. I'm sure God would get a kick out of it too!
Keep writing!
:)
