Sunshine In Our Hearts

The turning of the world  from what was to what is must shed light in new days for what was and still is. Good remains the same when feelings prevail inside. Time finds no distance  altered in one’s mind.  A memory is forever forever is until the coming of another for all mankind  to relish in with open hearts that will.

Deni, the moment this verse turns for me is on “good remains the same”. There is a proliferation of justifiable guilt that is passed off as goodness. IN this piece, even in the “memory is forever” there remains a passage that can only be navigated through the acceptance of truth. “Feelings prevail inside” I have always found to be the hidden mantra of both the truth and relativism. I recall the day my best friend was found to be a thief. I would never have expected such- that unexpectedness has never occurred with me again. In the reasoning of “altered in one’s mind” comes the manner of approbation or even surrealism; as it is viewed in the recourse of the day. I am not sure, but assume “the coming of another” regards the return of Christ. Whether so or not, it is a metaphor for coming to an understanding of truth itself. thank you for sharing- P.S. – with regard to an earlier critique, the fallacy of the lyric was satirical about us walking the lonely valley alone- and it was not directed at your verse.

Deni, This is intriguing! It says much to ponder. It has simplicity, I like and yet very much depth. It rhymes nice at the ending. You did a very good job here. Happy Christmas my dear. Dellena
