more transitional thoughts

service or servitude a long walk to the end the rosary beads mean everything to the scared and lonely soldier the mother waits the sisters wait the brothers wait in their own war hell all together they wrap around the meaning of the words conjoined and separated. the sense is just not there the bond of service the bond of servitude the essence of both parallel so they do not meet. what kind of god teases the innocent unamused he knows there are no innocent only sinful only the confined of course it is he made them that way cruel and absolute he tempts with free will and teases with "grace" he always knew the walk to the end. service or servitude is there a choice to deny the god or deny the man. who places ahead who is a shadow what is fate what are circumstances who has the excuses and who uses them. my father was that soldier my grandmother sent the beads his siblings loved him I never heard about my grandfather I never knew him I believed he loved him, too but what about god did he love him as much as me or them? the book says more but how can anyone know blind faith is what it is from a silent god  who pretends to listen to an audience that's not witnessed. love is real at least I hope so I will never know from those who are dead  or a god who refuses to reply outside of symbols, and archaic verse obtuse parables, and decaying "grace". it is not me who can't hear it is you who won't speak. service or servitude does it even matter to you?

Another piece of dispair! I feel it too. I think mankind has been fooled for too long! It is time we really do meet the Creator- no matter Who/What....we need to know! Sadly, if a great prophet were to stand up today, most of the good people would shoot him down anyway. They would credit their devil. To give good credit to the soldiers and the family's all the people should be reveered towards them! They are to be honored for standing up to protect their loved ones-no matter what they fight for. It would be so much better if the war did not revolve around a god, and I do not condone war. Forget the old laws and symbols. They belong to a time far gone. Mankind needs new growth for renewal. Servitude has been ill-defined. There is more. Keep some faith, my friend. Be it what it may be, hold on to it. Sometimes the only good thing to happen in a day is when a person with a good attitude comes along and says hello. Maybe God is waiting for us to love each other. And so, we will be here a long time. ~smiles~ Ellen

Always remember that verse and form do not define modern poetry. It is, if any one thing the multi-layering of meaning, to have the poetic language but to expand beyond the words with imagery and the indistinct. Pressing the reader to search with facet to every turn in the path you've provided. That the task would be as equal to the read as it is to the write. But you must have something to say...and you do...in abundance. The struggle of youth towards growth is well represented here. The problematic to come to terms with God...or not. I will offer one thing, aside this critique. No wise God would ever wish to interfere with your most precious gift, that of self-discovery. JCH
