Nature's Bliss

My faith believes in dawn and sunny rays two heart that measured echoes from their Lord and summer rain where mem’ries spill delight when wishes wend their wander once again So I embrace the prayer sung by One with grace divine that shows us loving care upon my soul when beauty overwhelms and life becomes the life I dared to live I watch the birds that never lose their north and fly on feathered wings because they must About me lay the dreams I dreamt so long of nature’s bliss that only God designs In early morn when I awake I know my faith has kept me strong and wavers not I love the mountains when they throng to speak their voice as soft as thunder brings peace and pebbles polished by the water’s rush that trembles every time the rills appear My trust is like a lonely beam of light escaping brow and brim of heaven’s sky cascading hues in rainbow’s arch above that scatter beads of coloring here and there And when the dawn begins to fade for rest I’ll share my faith in silver stars that peep Creation’s birth that never fails the truth that cradle hearts of all those who believe Hold tightly to the miracle of this and fathom this enormous gift of love

Cheyenne, I can tell this came straight from the heart.. So much beauty in this world.. so much that we can draw strength from it everyday.. Your descriptions are an absolute delight for the senses. I simple love stanzas 5 & 6. I see so much of this Earth painted before my eyes just by reading this poem. The couplets are a nice touch.. They intensify the emotions behind the strength and the love that you describe. Very nice piece. :)

Awesome Cheyenne! You are allowing the flow of life to spill forth from you and it is a great thing! Your expressions are heartfelt and meaningful. I love the ending-those last two lines are inspiring and powerful. Its a great piece. I like it alot! ~smiles~ Ellen

This is first rate poetry. The only suggestion would be verse one line two two heartys sounds better to me than two heart, but that's the only thing I saw everything else was fabulous, when wishes wend their wander was a favorite and rill was just a lovely choice. I'd say an eleven on a scale of ten. mk
