Fragile Years Broken spirits are carted off to the junkyard fenders scarred from old collisions bodies rusted what can be salvaged already stolen We found each other in the market of silent dreams where old clothes flap in the north wind of despair However, we had the courage to hold fast like the unbroken stone of miracles We’ll walk around our piece of earth and not fall into oblivion as we turn through our fragile years Mending our broken spirits like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle that fit well together |

This is a very different love poem to be sure. And love is what i take away after reading it. The First stanza is brilliant. Like a beautiful sadness so well expressed. Throughout this poem I could not find one cliche which is very difficult when one considers the poets subject is pain. The next two stanzas bring the
reader to hope that not all is lost. That there can be a salvation when two like hearts join.
The last stanza sends the reader into flight
