For Annie

Where do the moments go when I remember you softly as if trying to catch and frame  snowflakes, before its too late   Where does my fate go  when all I know  are the past days the glory phase of my life with you   How is it that I  can only see your eyes most beautiful when in surprise or when delighted in laughter   What will be the measure  of a life held in the leisure  of simply recalling  all of the befalling your ever did with me    Why is it  I can't go on  without you  as if some part of me once held you  too perfectly

Joe, "Catching and framing" snowflakes is very good. You handled and expressed the emotion well here, delicately, conveying the depth of feeling, but not sentimental. MSS
