Thorns I can not fault the wind That blows within The hollow of my Being Or fault the dark that So starkly reminds me of The loss of your touch so Gently upon me I will not fault The rocks that lie hidden Before your shores If I choose the embrace the Rose that is you I can not fault the thorns |

I really like this poem. Makes me think of missing someone and although we know some of the things we miss are not great, we still miss them and long to hold them again, even if it brings up pain because that part of them comes along with the good. Thanks for sharing! Kim
