Stones of Life On my morning stroll to escape snares of life I stopped at the edge of a rocky path A canopy of trees stood beyond the edge while the sun leaked light like a shot of thin arrows A distant roll of thunder and soft coos of a dove mocked the silent path I wondered if I could navigate the stones and get to the other edge unscathed My footfalls were quiet but there were more rocks than I realized determined I walked on With my toes I pushed some of the larger rocks aside smoothing my path Suddenly the rocks were no more and even though I was battered I was not beaten A streak of moonlight and clarity of stars caressed me Fear of the rocky path melted like magic as night slept in folds of hope |

Such an uplifting poem. S2 is so unque in its depiction of light beams (a sot of thin arrows)While the work is excellent on the whole the last two lines of the poem really hits, for me a poetic home run. 'as night slept in folds of hope" Wow. This poem is as easy to follow as looking at a painting.
Thanks Cheyenne nice to see your back :)
