Forever

Like a wild rose growing out of a crag of rock rising  in solitude at a river’s edge Like a soft wind rustling pine needles amongst trees standing sentinel  in an isolated forest Like the Peregrine gliding on thermals that dance in lone wafts of Heaven’s spire Like the silent prayer whispered from heart’s trust are the memories  of our love

Excellent way of presenting love in a why that would not of occurred to me. Whispered from heart"s trust is such a goosebumbs line.

Hi Lora, This is an accomplished poem and one I read more than once. Well composed and easy to understand. I love melancholy flavor of the lines. Poetic devices like alliteration and enjambments are superb. This is one of those poems I wish I had written. Bravo. Best wishes, cheyenne
