When The Soul Cries

When a soul cries  it whispers in to itself silently it aches for peace with release from a life that feels like hell. Little parts of days on end serious to find a place where anything makes everything feel good again. Yet at the end of each day the injured soul feels raw and cannot say why it needs to find a way just to get by day after day. To the dark we shout leave! To the heavens we cry for release. To the light we wish to see. Pushing daily we get up and pretend we are well; pray the fervent prayers we know to take us from what feels like hell. "Why Would I Hide My Grief - I Never Hid My Love"....quoted.

There is no doubt as to the pain the poet feels. Well described without releying heavily on standard "I hurt statements. An excellent achievement. My only problem would be with the use of release twice in the same poem. A fine work
