Transposing Voices of the Heart

From feelings to words, a laborious task      transposing voices of the heart. To protray my love for such a lady, rare      an ambiguous quest...a place to start. A taxing of this simple mind      extracting feelings from a pen. No help posed by Webster      mere words of mortal men. Reasoning has rendered it a crush      a phase suggested by the mind, yet the heart know ture devotion      inherent emotions that will bind. She touched a place within      the one where butterflies are made. Established an ever abiding love      too strong to ever fade. New blood rushes through my veins      tranfused by this lady, fair. By her affection and adoration      her genuine concern and care. She offered a heart so pure      yet scared from former years. I'll do my best to mend this pain      soothe the hurt, wipe away its' tears. We vowed to grow, learn and share      and to become the other's strength. Walk hand in hand down a road called life      no matter its' breadth ot length. Become best friend, share our thoughts      use caustion and never judge. To treasure this love, voice our views      and to never hold a grudge. We pledged our lives, our hearts and souls      to each other forever...a sacred oath. To nurture this gift as a newborn babe      awaken each morn, finding new growth. This page of letters, formed into words      a covenant, from a simple little man. A promise to cherish and bestow my love      and to always do the best I can.
