Night's Hide

Deepening to woods the loping gait    sliding shadow to the moon Cadence to heart a hurry that                       cannot wait In toward the light borrowed of the sun      where night rover finds its noon And gait finds its thunder in motion     while prey softens to moribund

I love the poem. It reminds me of Twilight the book. Dark, mysterious, foreboding

Short, powerful picture of a predator finding something much better than prey. Man or wolf? Very intense, thanks!
