Wondering

Walking around in the darkness of the woods Not daring to get off the path that will lead me back Noticing every little inspiring leaf growing around An essence of life surrounds me with every footstep Wondering, what will everyone think of me True feelings waste my mind with anger and triumph My life is blank, I have no reason to be in this world I stutter all my words spoken, but breathe as there is wind I wonder what happens when you are on the verge of dying Looking out for myself, I feel like there are people watching me I only believe there is a tyrant inside my gasping body waiting to get out It thrives for renewel and beckons to revive my new begining   The denial of emotions in me are uncontrolable I created something, not doing me any good  The stress I go through gets worse everyday I punish myself for treating you this way Every little detail begins to unfold  The evil never stops controling my life I justify my creation and give it new wonders Proceed with caution and step towards the light The days are numbered for this epic The light is getting stronger inside Until that day, I take the risk Of my life as we know it.

Additional Notes:
This poem pretty much is written from a background of people who have a drug problem. The tyrant is the drug and that person is trying to get away from it.
