The Bard tells us,

The Bard tells us, It doth take a wise man to play the part of the fool, tho' as time doth pass by, me thinks him rather drool. Take politicians, how they waffle and shout, how they rail about things they do know naught about. Doff your hats my dear friends and agree, if you can, me thinks fool doth do better job playing wise man.

Hi Kevin: I have to give it to you hands down. Politicians do rant and rave and rail about things they have not experienced and can't really talk about with sense. This is the year for that. The debates have been a circus. We do have several fools up there now playing wise men. May the best man win. Good points made...good job.

Hola Senor Kevin. This is a witty little ditty about the foolish and wise. I like your use of "ye olde English" in this one. Just a few things: I would remove your first sentence as it is the same as your title. Your usage of the word "drool" in the 2nd line--deliberate? I like the "waffling politicians"--very astute and appropriate. At times this piece has a specific rhythm to the read, and then not so much--deliberate as well? Another nice piece from you Kevin.

Nicely done Kevin, interesting turn of words, definitely made me stop and use my grey matter. Reads smoothly and easily and give the reader something to contemplate. Best always, Lora

Very good. Impersonating the bard himself. Esp with the Canadian Election being today. I love old English, so much fun to read.
