So Long Old Friend The time to say goodbye is near Instead of goodbye I`ll say so long Even though we got lost on trail I`m still a better man after knowing you You`ve many new projects And never ending hashes -I just want to make that clear So for now,instead of goodbye I`ll say so long Sure will miss you when your gone. |

I am assuming this Hasher is Melanie as well, of the Hash House Harriers (I needed a greater appreciation for your previous verse, (I don’t like being found lacking in my attempt to understand the craft of another.)) Anyway- The Randy Newman connection is well done, (a very underrated lyricist. The tribute speaks volumes of you. Thank you again for letting me ramble.
