Wrong Way on a One Way Street Sittin here watchin the pourin rain Seems I should be goin somewhere Instead of sittin here listenin to the pain I can go where no one else will go Feels like its neither here nor there I`m just sittin here drownin in the rain Ain`t easy listenin to the pain Seems like I should be goin somewhere Neither here nor there Think I`m goin insane Just can`t believe it Help me remember your smile Make it all worthwhile I`m in too deep, can`t seem to sleep Everyday is so jaded, all the daylight has faded The burnin in my veins is so outdated I just cant believe it I can go where no one else will Goin the wrong way on a one way street Tearin up the town walkin on my feet Maybe I should swallow another pill Help me remember your smile, can`t walk another mile I think I`m coming undone Sittin here watching the rain, listenin to all the pain Seems I should be goin somewhere,it`s neither her nor there I`m in too deep, can`t seem to sleep, feels like I`m going astray Help me remember your smile Make it all seem worthwhile |

Reads like lyrics to a song that might have written for the Stones. Each stanza has a very clever twist on words. A poem of sadness brightly written. Well done
