Little Boys

What is a little boy? A bundle of unbridled joy - feelings... careful, do not bruise - a shining love we must not lose. Day he greets with sparkling eyes, oft before the sun can rise. Small things cause tears to fall, a broken toy, a lost ball.  A smile, a shout, “Play a while!”  ...always with a grin, a smile. A child sent from God above, who could fail to hold and love. And if he do not what is right, we must teach him er’ the night. For when we stand before the throne, he is all we bring... our own. So raise the boy with love and care, as God would, if he were there. When child is grown and maid is won, may he present you with his son.
