Truth Through Trial

Against the grain I stride Seeing what others fear to know Knowing what others fear to see Living a millennium and still confounded On angels' wings I breathe and serpents' tails lay Fearing neither, my soul resides My psyche belonging to one, and soul to the other Taking the unseen path I have met the tribulations Betting against the odds, And not knowing the outcome I tested the dogmatic stigmas And followed the footsteps blindly Every path-step was an illusionary pitfall Only the truth being seen by the true
