Lower Case "hi"

At last He was finally there My friend I hold so very dear… I've been so lonely sitting here Waiting for his name to appear I sent a bright and cheery "Hi" his way And in response he only said "hi" today I said I'll go…. I'll leave you be, He said, "No, please stay with me" With that one little "hi", I heard his sigh No capitalization, only lower case "hi" He needed me; couldn't just type a one word "Bye" I knew something was bothering him…something was wrong Where'd his smile go?  He's the one that's always so strong I'll do anything to put that smile right where it belongs I didn't need to see a picture of him to know it was true That today, my Dear Friend was feeling quite blue Please, let me find just the right little words And make his smile sing again lovely chords Cyber ((((HUGS)))) and ****KISSES**** that might do And snap him right out of feeling so blue He knows how much I love to babble on and on so… I type and send one "UT OH"! After "UT OH"! Then wouldn't you know a smile began to "GROW"?

Additional Notes:
I wrote this poem this morning after spending a night with a Dear Online Friend of mine on ICQ (A chat program) He was very depressed. (((Hugs))) and ***Kisses*** are my way of sending cyber hugs and kisses. And UT OH is the sound that ICQ makes when you have an incoming message from someone on your list. And the picture refers to another program (Video/chat program)
