Freedom

Through the shadowy gloom My spirit glides alone Seeking the noblest of dreams. Questing relentlessly for a sliver Hoping to see a faint glimmer Of freedom's radiant appeal. Cast upon the earthly soil So others may greedily reap the body's toil. Sent from the altar on high Avenging the freedoms so helplessly lost. Shackles wrought of iron hinder the true But sights long unseen inspire the kingdom  Pushing forth the eternal flame anew. Repetance shall have no cause On the wickedness of bodies Molded from the serpent's tongue When the disciples rejoice upon liberty The false shall have their empty souls Bereaved of freedom's eternity.
