A Child's Love

To love a child is a wondrous thing Little hugs and kisses make your heart sing You never know what each day will bring It's something each parent yearns for Doesn't just come knocking at your door Not just anything you can buy at the store Through trial and error we live and we learn One of life's greatest gifts of all to earn Is receiving your child's love in return

I wrote this today...while missing my children dearly. They are away for the next couple weeks :(
