End of Seasons

Infinite, uniform rows stretch across the landscape, As shallow breaths whisper of forgotten secrets. Lost in a lonely, pressuring cold numbness, As the last petals flutter to the ground. Dark dampness of empty confinement and isolation, Fury and desire strain against the ceilings of prediction, Aching for absolution and the release of missing tears, That can wash away those misplaced memories. Innocent, blood soaked strength seeps slowly inward, As earthly independent attempts are abandon and cast aside. Mystical warnings of flooding brightness and blinding light, Warms the impenetrable embers of hope. Inaudible promises kissed on the floating breeze, Dancing to the far corners and depths of the mind, While Angles are hiding in well lit empty rooms, Anxiously, patiently waiting to be picked. Weight of experience provides no freedom from eternity. Yet that was never the arrangement from the beginning. For these ancient maps provides a well lit redemption And a path that no longer waits to let go.
