Alone and Unloved

The final teardrop fell    on a bed of roses    brown and withered    slowly dying    through    time spent    alone and unloved    Misty memories of flowers flourishing    with contentment    the fires    they offer only embers     of what was    time now spent    alone and unloved    Lavender kisses are no more    and the magic has languished    offering only a shimmer     of hope    to recapture    tim now spent    alone and unloved    The taste of wine    only lingers    on lips that have no feeling    the dew of teh morning offers solace     to time    now spent    alone and unloved    The rawness of the night    bleeds through the air    as the sun shines on the day    reminding one of nothing more    than time    now spent    alone and unloved.
