To You, All Poets Before Me

"They say the truth will make you free. My truth will bind you slave to me." -Robert Frost Because my brain is finite (On this i'll take my stand) i know that there are things that i cannot possibly understand but just because i know this in God please don't insist that i believe because i will fervently resist! To you, all poets before me your message i'll explore but if by chance you don't romance me, my own god i shall implore and if he from yours be different please grant me this, will you? your wisdom's fine, but i am blind and must myself find truth.

Additional Notes:
This poem begins with a two line poem by Robert Frost. I include it at the beginning because it was the inspiration for my writing this poem.
