FORGIVEN

FATHER, forgive them, they know not what they do Jesus said that on the cross as He died for me and you People sometimes hurt me too And I do not know what to do Hide, scream, shout, fight, yell, cry? No that will not do - forgive their lie Thank you for guiding my way For a moment - my mind went astray... As I forgive them - you forgive me That is the way it has to be. Peace - I feel deep inside of me today Because you carried my burdens away Forgive me for being upset for a while Now with the renewal of your love - I walk in style. Dawn Anne Hall
