Sweet Silence

A gentle kiss while holding hands - The passions of life are nothing more Than two lovers together upon the sands Who cannot hear the ocean’s roar As waves are crashing against the shore. The waters draw back then return To claim the footprints they’ve left behind. The sweetest silence the two discern Is not the passing away of time But the loving freedom one kiss can find.
