Lost

Tattered cuffs gathering dirt Toes exposed to the climates Shopping carts used for grills Boxes covering worn frail bodies Tangled hair so full of dust Missing one shoe Terror in their eyes exposed Tears gently slide Quietly they walk right by you Looks of disgust is what they get Pity, we do not feel or show Where are they from, where will they go? Walk all day searching parking lots Food and clothing is what they seek Dignity lost, pride no more Homeless and hungry, no place to go Tattered cuffs gathering dirt Toes exposed to the climates Shopping carts used for grills Life of the homeless and hungry.

Additional Notes:
I see this everyday where I live and thought I would put some words about it on paper. Just when we think we have problems we must just stop and look around us.
