Comprehension

You say that you don't understand me; I reply, "That's because when you walked in my shoes, you put them on backwards and only laced them up halfway." You say I'm beautiful, it falls on deaf ears, because I've heard that too many times before. You try to say you love me, but it comes out croaking. It isn't true.  You only love what I can do for you. I've never said those words  to anyone.  I sell my body as an amusement park ride to almost anyone, but not for money, just for the luxury of forgetting what emotions are.
