For a Young Lady

The most distant star Is well within your reach Though we are simply what we are No more than pebbles on a beach You have more days before you Than behind No matter what's in store you Must stay kind and Be a gentle person The highest point you touch Will be perfection in your time No one demands you reach the top Just keep on climbing You are a blossom Prelude to the flower Growing is your task and Each second of your time Is your finest hour
